To protect both parties, this section outlines our responsibilities regarding pre-existing vehicle conditions, personal belongings, and the limitations of mobile detailing.

At Izunan Mobile Detailing, we treat every vehicle with the highest level of professional care and respect. However, due to the nature of automotive detailing and the varying conditions of vehicles, the following liability terms apply to all services rendered.
1. Pre-Existing Conditions and Damage
Izunan Mobile Detailing is a cleaning and restoration service, not a repair shop. We are not responsible for:
Surface Defects: Pre-existing scratches, swirl marks, paint chips, or clear coat failure that become more visible once dirt is removed.
Interior Wear: Cracked leather, frayed stitching, or thinning carpets that are part of the vehicle’s natural aging process.
Mechanical & Electrical: Any pre-existing mechanical issues or electrical malfunctions (e.g., faulty window switches or sensors) that are unrelated to the detailing process.
Structural Integrity: Loose trim pieces, aging weather stripping, or mirrors that are already compromised and may be affected by standard cleaning pressure.
2. Personal Belongings and Valuables
To ensure the safety of your property and allow our technicians to clean every surface effectively:
Clearance: Customers are required to remove all personal items, electronics, and valuables (e.g., sunglasses, loose change, documents) from the vehicle prior to the appointment.
Loss or Damage: Izunan Mobile Detailing is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any belongings left inside the vehicle during the service.
Storage: If items are left in the vehicle, our technicians may consolidate them into a single bag or container to facilitate cleaning, but we do not guarantee the inventory of these items.
3. Service Limitations and Expectations
While we use professional-grade chemicals and advanced extraction methods, some conditions are permanent:
Stains and Odors: We cannot guarantee 100% removal of all stains (such as set-in ink or bleach) or odors (such as heavy mold or cigarette smoke) if the damage has deeply penetrated the fibers or materials.
Material Age: Older plastics and upholstery can become brittle; we are not liable for the failure of materials that have reached the end of their functional lifespan.
4. Weather and Environmental Factors
As a mobile service operating in Calgary, Canmore, and surrounding areas, our schedule is subject to the elements:
Rescheduling: For the safety of our technicians and the integrity of your vehicle’s finish (e.g., wax bonding or interior drying), we reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to extreme cold, heavy rain, or high winds.
Post-Service Exposure: Once the service is complete and the technician departs, we are not liable for environmental damage (e.g., immediate rainfall, bird droppings, or road salt) that may affect the vehicle’s appearance.
5. Child Safety Seats
Installation: For liability reasons, Izunan technicians will not reinstall child safety seats once they have been removed for cleaning. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure all car seats are properly and safely reinstalled before the vehicle is operated.
